MUSIC: The show calls for a conjunto of musicians who sing and play. The conjunto includes 2 guitars (traditional and vihuela), 2 violins, bass, harp, trumpet and percussion (marimba, ocarina, tambores, shakers). The musical score is inspired by the unique energy and beauty of Mexican folk music, drawing upon the "Mestizo" tradition, which combines Native, Spanish, and African influences.
